💛 What if I get allergies?
Good news: brass does not contain nickel in its pure state , so it does not usually cause allergies.
It is ideal for sensitive skin, especially if we take good care of it and do not mix it with strong perfumes or creams.
In some commercial alloys, there may be traces of nickel, but at Aktual we use jewelry-grade brass , handcrafted and completely transparent.
🌿 How to care for your brass jewelry
Brass, like copper, can darken over time. But that's not a defect: it's history. Still, you can keep it looking beautiful with these care tips:
Wipe it with a soft cloth after use.
Avoid contact with perfumes, sea water or creams.
If it rusts, wash it with warm water, neutral soap and dry it well .
You can use a little bit of baking soda with lemon or white vinegar , rub gently, rinse and dry.
